The world's religious communities are committed to advancing peace
with justice - a commitment that coincides with many areas of the United Nations
(UN) agenda. Together with WCRP, IPCR organized a one-day conference entitled
'Advancing cooperation between the UN and world's religions' on December 16,
2008.
The conference brought together 120 religious leaders, UN officials

following three objectives: - To advance the value of multi-religious
cooperation in pursuing peace, development and human rights. - To note
